I'm designing this site...it's actually my first full-fledged web project...the site is an web presence for a shoe store http://www.estillo.com/demo.html. Please give me your opinions as to what I should do to make it better...all constructive criticism is welcome...thanks.

1 change ur fonts;
2 place any background image(transparent)
3 centre ur text

when you say 'opening page' do you mean the splah part or the page that the splash fades into? I've consulted a few people whose opinions i respect and they are telling me that thje color scheme is all wrong...i gotta go back to the lab and make sumthin hotter...after all....i can't lose and i gotta eat! [that's my life slogan]. thanks for the critique...
