Does anyone know of a good sound editing program for the Mac that is similar to SoundEdit 16. (I want to record some of my own stuff.)

I learnt Flash last year and now want to add sound to my F4 movies, but SoundEdit 16 doesn't seem to be available any more - at least not in Australia.

Any suggestions on software will be gratefully received and greeted with applause.

    Cheers

    Andrew

I too used Sound Edit, buit now that I have FinalCut Pro I use it. Yes it is a video editing suite, but it has a powerful sound editing capabilities, better than sound edit. Sound effects, the whole 9.

Thanks for that - will check it out.

Like your site too. Is the sliding folio a F5 thingy?

    Hi,
    Take a look at Peak.
It is shipped as a light version with the Macromedia Shockwave Studio package.
More information on Peak is here:

Naw, just a lot of script working together constantly checking the location of the sliding cursor, which is also draggable
