How do I tell Flash 5 to write to .txt?

i have seen this done on sites such as x-pressive.com (at least I assume that is how they do it) where the user can leave a message for the next user

I think it's not possible by security reasons to write directly data to a txt-file.. I know you can do it in a flashproject movie, but that doesn't worl in a browser..
Maybe there are some solutions by doing it with scripting ?
I wanna know it when it's possible too..
