Anyway, the point is, the site is «Am I hot or not?», not «Am I beautiful or not?» or «Do I have a personality or not?». An equivalent to the former would be «Would you like to have sex with me or not?». From that point of view, there's no denying that 'showing skin' will get you a better rating on the site. Of course, doing so will rightfully award you the honorific 'webhooker' title.

I don't personally approve, from a moral standpoint, of the site amihotornot.com. It is, in my opinion, the web equivalent of a wet t-shirt contest. Although there's no denying the appeal such site gives to the prehistoric male in all of us, it should never be taken for more than what it is: mindless entertainment.

As a sidenote, on a hypothetical «I am beautiful or not?» site, I probably would have given you a 9

my answer was, "hey, i do web design. i think i'm alright, what do you think?"

nothing to do with hot or not - just happened to be the only place i have my picture on the internet.

as for the moral dilemma, well, i missed all the hype about this site and just learned of it when my roommate showed me his picture a couple weeks ago. so we had a little bet going on to see who could get a better rating.

he won.

i assure you, it had no effect on my self esteem.
