    Hey guys how do you control a quicmtime movie as far as setting up play and stop button for each movie?...or is this even possible?..I'm trying to make a CD-ROM interactive presentation with Flash 5.0 and I'm wondering if this is even possible to do...I don't want to spend the time to learn Director right now...I have to have his done in about two weeks...I can't even learn director in that time....can anyone help?...we just want to be able to put video clips in quicktime onn a few different scenes.

    Thanks guys!!

    Hi...

    If you import QT into Flash, you will only be able to export as QT, not as a SWF...

    You can in=mport the video as a sequence of bitmaps, or, there are a few utilities out there that will pre-process the video into SWF format...

    import quicktime as bitmap

    If you import the quicktime file into a movieclip and then add frames you will see that flash will convert the quicktime into a series of bitmaps. Then it is a simple matter of editing and creating an actions layer to add your controls. Some fairly simple tell targeting should do. Watch out for the file size.
