Someone please re-assure me that this is indeed a joke site. The letter about eating vegetarians is kinda funny. So are the t-shirts that say 'I am beef'.

they began in 1982 I believe, and they are dead (bad pun  ) serious
you have to go through a background check, etc. before you can buy human meat from them

How do you know they're real?! How come you know so much about the background checks? Did I mention I have a high cholestoral level? I'd be the human equivalent of eating a big mac I think. You wouldn't want to eat me.

LOL I knew someone would ask how I knew so much about it.
Well, a guy in my dorm a few rooms down showed me the site one day, and we tried to sign our RA up for the background check but you needed all this information that we couldn't get from him without tipping him off. I can't say for sure that it's real, but if it isn't, it's a pretty elaborate joke if they actually go to the trouble to do background checks.

oh, and my opinion on it is this,
it cant be no worse that what we eat in hotdogs,
its a food source and poeple eat it. I do believe its going through a lot just to get a good slab of NYC cab driver butt, but if folks want to pay for it by all means.
The more people there are to eat humans means the less there are eating cows which means more steaks for me.
