With everyone and there gramdmothers designing websites now a days, is it possible to be original any more. There are very few sites that put up original sh** up, if you know any others then add them to the list
here are mine
http://www.designgraphik.com
http://www.gmunk.com
http://www.submethod.com
and for the true aficionados the classic battle between two of the best designers out there tell me who one

by the way
by the way these two are ex- vir2l.comers and if you read my post on "too many webdesigners" then you'll see how they are ahead of the game cus this was done over a year and a half ago.

if they are original, why would you want to post them to this forum...once you post them, they won't stay unique, there'll be a ton more just like it, because people will continue to copy and rip sites.

who cares if there are too many designers.
It only makes the better ones stick out more.

In the end, only the strongest survive.

copying, from "flattering imitation" to "downright plagiarism" is endemic - there is not one single area of art and design where this does not happen on a daily basis - it keeps the rank and file imitators happy and self-satisfied and it drives the really talented creatives on to new and different (and hopefully better) things
if these guys were smart enough to do this a couple of years ago, whilst everybody is currently "imitating" their "old material", creatives will just keep on coming up with fresh new ideas to stand out from the crowd today, (which will then get copied another year down the line, and so on ad infinitum)

Ok this is a generalization. But I say the key to originality is to show the user what they want to see, but show them what they have never seen before.
