I have been trying now for quite sometime to fade an mp3 layer in my file on flash 5 and I can only get it to stop abruptly. Anytime I set it to fade it just keeps playing and then the other mp3 comes on and plays right over it. I have even tried editing the mp3 under the custom button (I think thats what it is or its the edit button).

Does anyone know where I can find a step by step walkthrough on how to do this? Or can anyone email me the steps? Thanks!

Hello, Here is what it says in flash 5 bible.

    1. Select the keyframe of the sound you want to edit.
2.Choose Modify- Frame, and click sound tab.
3.Click the envelope lines to create envelope handles.
    (Little boxes on the lines)
Once these handles have been created, you can drag them around to create your desired volume/fading effects. The lines themselves show the volume level of the sound. Thus, when you drag an envelope handle down, the lines slopes down. indicating a decrease in the volume. Hope it helps ya.
