Thread: Is it possible to play, stop an external swf file from your remote movie?

    Basically, I have a main swf file and loaded a secondary swf file on top of my main with navigations such as play and stop. Is it possible to control the secondary swf with my navigational buttons to play and stop if these buttons reside on my main swf file?

    How about use dynamic html actions to communicate between this two swfs ?

    you should just be able to set your actions by refering to the level in which the movie is that you want to control.
    (ie _level0)
