Thread: Counting the number of lines in a text box

    OK I've work out exactly how I'm going to auto-format my news page.

    One problem though.

    I need to count the number of lines that text occupies in a dynamic text box.

    IE the text box is 36 lines deep, but only 6 of these lines are occupied.

    The text will be both wrapped and/or paragrahed depending on the news so I need to take into consideration this.

    I do have a temporary solution to this. The writer has to enter how many lines his piece takes up when he enters it into the database access page (which is formated the same as the flash), but I need to make this as automated as possible.

    Nevermind

    I dunno why I've been trying to make loads of dynamic boxes. I might as well have one and format the text in ASP

    Much much better
