Change html color background?

I have a flash presentation movie, and its background color is white, some pages have a a black background though but the html (Dreamweaver) page I embedded the swf in stays white (as I specified in the Page Properties), the result is a swf movie with a ugly white frame around.
Is there a way to turn the html page background black when the flash movie requires it?

why not just make the flash fit perfectly inside a window?..id just use a popup.
