3 easy Q's about Flash and (DHTML) layers

1.Can Flash Exsist within a layer?

2.If the flash movie is transparent, then will it show all the content beneath it (i.e. text)?

3.Can this layer be dragged around like an image or table can (using JS etc)?

well..i dont work with layers that much because its easy to have cross capatibility probs with browsers..but i think the flash would behave the same as an image like when u want to move the layers and stuff..but u cannot make a trasparent flash movie..u can if u want to add one into another layer of a flash movie...but layer 0 will always have a background color

Are you sure about the transpanrency.

If you add an background image to a page the flash will show it through the movie, even through alpha layers?

Layer might be different, that's why I asked

I tried it and it works Shows the content of the page underneath.

I just have to work out the dragging bit now
