Does anyóne know whether it is possible to get rid of the click sound when you call a Javascript in Flash 5 via the Get Url method? I need to perform a GetUrl Javafunction continually once every second but at the same time I need to keep the sound on the computer because there's a soundtrack running. The click sounds from the Get Url Javasfunction is very annoying.

Unless you physically put the click sound in the function there should not be one, it is most likely the Windows Start navigation sound (controle panel --> sounds).

This happens everytime windows (this includes your browser, windows explorer and apparently the flash plugin ) starts to navigate (going to different pages, and yes technically getURL does go to a different page) it makes the little click, very annoying.

And no you can't take that of dynamically, the user that views your file has to on his local system.
