    Hi
    I'm looking for advice...
I have an old .swf file but I cannot find the original
.fla file. How can I decompile this file to open a working version in Flash again?

    thanks

    It is really SO easy!!
I've posted this before, but here you go again!
    1) Rename your .swf file to a .fla file.
    2) Go to File>Import> and select your .fla
    3) Under the Modify menu, select "Hack Someone Else's Work" and click the "Don't want to make it Myself" checkbox!

    Bwaaahhhahahahaha!

    Just kidding!

    You can't do it.

    Lightbulb hmmm

There ARE some programs that can let you decompile a swf file, view the actionscript etc.

You'll have to find them yourself... I haven't got any urls for you. :-( sorry
