New site- Printing and detection of print-capable plugin?

Does anyone know of a way to detect the Flash 4.02x plugin that is print-capable? (either from within Flash or another way...)

Yesterday we launched http://www.cecwheels.com/ with a Flash Generator/Cold Fusion vehicle/car/wheel configurator, but had to disable the print feature on this live site because it resets the loaded movie when you try to print if you do not have the latest player version. (argh!)

If I could find a way for it to not reset, or detect for the proper player, I could enable printing again...

That information comes with the Printing SDK which you can get at www.flash.com
You reference the built in variable $version
