    Hi All.
    I know it has been explain many times, but i didn't really pay attention before . because never had this happen.
    Somebody pls explain.. why?? when publishing html., sometimes it will write you in your html file all damn text that been used in the movie on every single frame... and sometime will not.
    I don't change any publishing settings and it does it with some files and does not with another.

    2. Now another problem too, when i publish the movie.. the html tags are broken... and so i can see in my browser all
    text used in the movie .. but not movie..
    Is somebody experienced this before?? should i go and reinstal Flash??

    Thank You All

    Hi iliap

    what i suppose to do with those 10 html files...
    Is that a question?
    If yes, then what you have to do is extarct all those 10 files in your Macromedia\Flash4\html directory overwriting the existing ones

    Did it , restarted, still same result..
    it breaks right here........
    -------------------codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=4,0,2,0"
    ID=newsite5 WIDTH=100% HEIGHT=100%>

    ----------------------
    instead of
    ----------------------------
    <OBJECT classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000"
    codebase="http://active.macromedia.com/flash2/cabs/swflash.cab#version=4,0,0,0"
    ID=newsite WIDTH=550 HEIGHT=400>
    ---------------------------
    But!! i think i have an idea why it is happening..
    in my text in the movie i have a lot of ">" symbols...
    like
    > Graphic / Visioneer > Graphic / Visioneer > Graphic / Visioneer > Graphic / Visioneer

    and maybe this ">" acts like a closing tag in html and breaks the code!!!! that would be very weird!
    because! in the same files where it publishing without <text used in the movie> i have no problem ...
    whow! have no idea how to solve it besides, wright everything manually

    Hi

    First time heard about this but what you are saying makes sence, why write everything manually? (Not that there is much to write). Delete the text or even every single scene except the first one if you are going to use an image as well, also keep the ones that have URL links (but be carefull not to save accidentally the fla) Publish it, and save the HTML.

    You can use the same HTML again whenever you want with your finshed swf

    Yep! this is a bug i guess. just tested it in few different movies.. if i include '>' or '>>' like a text.. it breaks the code.. if i break it appart, everything is fine
    Thanks for your help Nazaret!
