load and save the status of a projector-session

Hy there,
I´ve got big problems with my project ( .exe Flashprojector )
I have a kind of game ( you can generate and move 5 kinds of symbols on a
structured underground, like chess) and want to give the user the
possibility to save a "game-status" (best by a name) or to load a specific
status; so you can share those status-files with others or rework with the
status or just collect those files as document.
The application should only run offline ( floppy and HD).
Has anybody experience in this subject?
