[RESOLVED] How Do You Crop A SWF?

I`d like to know how to crop a SWF file please. You know, trim a bit off the left, the top and so on.
    Thank you.

    Thank you.
The alignment and size tags in the html let you do that. You can specify a size smaller than the actual movie, and use the alignment tags to control what the SWF does to fit (crop, scale, etc).

Look at the support files at macromedia for info about what all the tags do.

set the SCALE parameter to "NoBorder" .. this makes the swf file crop to fit in the width and height you specified.

use the SALIGN paramter to say how to fit it. eg SALIGN=tl (tl=top-left) will align it at the top and left and crop the bottom and right. if you don't specify SALIGN, the movie will be cropped on all four sides and centred.

SWiSH V2 has settings for these and generates the tags for you. With V1.5 you have to edit the HTML code yourself.

I'm sorry that I forgot to check out the topic date and I feel very embarrassed.
