    here u go
    i have it as a HTML table - i can mail it to you if you want... but i'd use escape () in AS and all serverside scripting-languages can convert all special chars with a function, so i see no need in knowing the codes...

    Hey,
    I emailed you about that html file you offered. And I was slo wondering how to include the escape () in my actionscript. Do you mean in the asfunction in the FLA or in the textfile?

    Hi flipsideguy,

    there is rarely a reason to use escape() in ctionscript other than to build query strings, but you might want to use its equivalent on the server or perhaps some editing script that works on your text files
