Ok, the short story first so you don't have to hear the long stuff. (but read it to laugh at me later... haha)
I have a splash/menu page that I've done for a site. Mind you, it was the first time I touched flash. So to most of the people on here, it may be simple. What I need, if it can be done, is a script that if a viewer has been to a site they don't have to sit through the full load again, but will force the flash to skip to the end and just set the menu up. The site I've done the work on is http://www.docuteam.com.
Now for the long stroy. I am not a graphic person. Just a small time HTML person. Being contracted to this site, I understood there was going to be flash involved. The head person had flash experience. By the end of the meeting, I kind of figured that I was doing the flash. I still don't know why, so please don't be to critical of my work. The end client likes the site, so I'm happy. And for sitting down a friday night and coming up with a product by Sunday (not the one you'll see), but in a matter of weeks with no books nor help, even added some ActionScript, I'm quite proud. (If they would stop asking for more, because he didn't pay me enough for all they ended up asking for)
If you can help me, you can either hit me here or at mrmarcus@mlpro.com. In advance, thanks a lot for everything.
Please note, I know that a couple of links are not working, and have been fixed, just not posted yet. So please don't tear my work apart quite yet. I'm still learnin. (But I'm all game for any help I can get)
In short, be gentle, and remember my name in the morning... You don't even have to call afterwards.... {GRIN}
