This one is for new users:

From the object inspector you can copy entire actionscripts associated with a selected symbol instance and then paste it in a word processor.

You can also Copy/Paste your code directly from the Actionscript editor. Just highlight the lines of code, right click, and select Copy. The info copied to the clipboard contains special Flash formatting, but it also contains the code in standard TEXT format. So you should be able to paste it into any text editor/word processor. Note, that will not work in reverse.
