I've been designing some self running flash demos wherein there is a lot of content or screenshots. The problem is that everytime the content changes i've been inserting a lot of frames in between so that the user gets to read the content. Now cause of this the file size is enormous and also flash sometimes crashes. I want to know if there is a way to define frame delay between the content?
are the picture you want to be seen on Movie Clips... or on the scene.....
try importing your graphics, converting them to graphic symbols, and putting them in MC (movie clips) to be placed on your main scene...
on that MC, have to two layers with one frame....
on the top layer Label it ACTIONS
on the bot layer Label it PICTURE
give a STOP action on the first frame of the ACTIONS layer,
and drag in the GRAPHIC SYMBOL of the picture you want...
then go back to your main scene and drop that MC of the pic in for how ever long you need it.....it should drop the file size back down and fucntion properly.....
Hi,
I am experiencing the same problem, and I would like to know how to pause a movie clip at different frames so that the reader can read the text before the movie goes further..
thanks a lot for your help!
I heard this could be done with a Smart Clip and the action Get timer()?
Could someone help me??
I didn't get your word (drop in for how long do u want to). Suppose there are around 30 movie clips like u said and i place them one after other. Now is there a way to create frame delay between the MC's rather than inserting frames between them?
