passing variables to a cgi..?

i have been trying to get textfields to pass a set of variables to a cgi on a server and have been having difficulty making the url path work properly.

if anyone can give me a quick rundown of this I would appreciate it greatly

I have a similiar question. I would like to post information from my flash file to the browser so that I can use the information to create a cookie. Is it possible, and if so, please let me know.
