I've got a small issue using a preloader. I have created a swf file which includes a preloader. When I run the swf file stand-alone (in flash player) the preloader appears briefly then the main movie kicks in. However when I try and run the swf within a html document there is no sign of the preloader. What appears to be happening is that the swf file isn't playing until the whole file has loaded rather than playing it as it loads. Has anybody else come across this and what can I do about it?
I've visited your site, and the preloader seemed to work just fine.
I have experienced the same with flash-files on my own site, maybe it's a cache-kind-of-thing. Don't know.

That was one of my first thoughts, but I've tried it on a PC which hasn't viewed it before and it does the same again. Thanks anyhow.
