    How come when I mask a text box I can see it on the stage..
    but when I publish it the text box disappears??

    hi itchyfella,
    put your textbox inside a movieclip and that movieclip on the masked layer.

    here's the answer...

    hi,
    I experienced the same problem, and I got through it thanks to flashkit.com!!;o)
    You should just include font outlines (yeah...that's just a simple click!)

    thanks guys.. It's such a weird feeling when your text box just doesn't appear when you publish it.
    do I really have to embed the font..?
    file size goes up.
    I got it working thanks.
