Want more info about how get more familiarised with actionscript ...pls!!!

Can somebody pls help me to learn flash, especially the action script part which is diving me crazy.
I want become an expert in this. Can anybody suggest on how to go about it.

I'd hafta say that you never really just learn it. You can't just read a book and then, "boing", you know actionscript. All flashers, even the 'famous' ones learn new stuff everyday. They often hang out at the tutorial sites and search for new sources to learn from and modify for their own use. It's a good idea to draw what you want out on paper first(pictures, arrows, descriptions) sorda like what they do when they make a movie in hollywood.

So my suggestion is to download some sources to things like menus and such. Sometimes they will include directions and sometimes not.

Check out my friends flash help site. http://members.xoom.com/_XMCM/spiralmike/index.html . He has a few advanced tutorials and sources that you can learn from. Also find yourself a few icq, aim, or msn messenger buddies. Ask your questions here! But be more specific than how to learn. And last but not least, on dalnet , #html and #flash , and on undernet, #flash , you will find some ppl to simply chat with or get help from. If there are lots of ppl in there and nobody is talking, say "good morning" or something!
