Has anybody sorted the variables not printing issue ?

Having read back through the forum, has anybody solved the apparent problem of variables in text boxes not printing when using the print: or printAsBitmap: URL

Macromedia says they do:-

"if i test the flashcalc <<Flash 4 samples>> movie, do some calculation that displays a result,
then print from flash,
i get it to print ok..."

I have never got it to work..... and my conclusion was that
"if ,on printing, the print Sdk starts the playhead from Frame1 to check for Labled print frames, might this be erazing the data ?
I was presuming Not, otherwise the "flashcalc" version would not print its current
data........"

My variables are created by the user filling in a form, but every time i go to printout, no variables, everything else,
but no variables.
the variables are there, a simple gotoframe(x) shows them,

Is there an answer ???, or am i missing something obvious,

Sorted it..... I was right, the print function works from frame 1 and looks
for all print lables thereby
erazing/resetting all variables, your variables/buttons, in fact anything
that the user can alter must be in existance
on the first frame of the timeline.........

Why oh why isnt this in any of the tutorials/documentation
