Thread: Invisibly buttons question

    Question

    I have made an invisibly button by putting the alpha setting to 0%, but i want the area where the button is to display a short text when the mouse pointer rolls over it....how can i do that?

    You dont need to use an alpha state to create an invisible button. just draw a box or circle or what ever in the "hit" state. If you have alot of these buttons the alpha state will slow down the processor.

    Any way if you want text to appear just make a movie clip with the animation in it and then pull it into the over state of the button. Regards, Bill
