    Dowsing!

Well funnily enough yes I am also a dowser.

Being a reiki healer has helped because I'm sensitive enough to the energies to feel them with my hands.

Although a dowsing rod does help increase the sensitivity more.

I just use one L shaped brass rod. Works wonders.

At this very moment I'm sat in a ley line crossover point of six leys.

N,S,E,W,SE,NW Thats where they all go.
They play havoc with electrical equipment around the solstices and equinoxes though. Because the power build up creates static and computers etc... short with things like that. You have to unplug them and put a piece of metal across all the plug pins then it'll work again.

    Wierd I tell you!

That is odd! I'm not sure you should be putting bits of metal near plugs though

I did when i was younger, haven't in years. I was so skeptical at the beginning when it worked for me, that i had a couple of other people (who dowsed regularly) try in the general area where i did it. I hadn't said anything, and they both did it independently of each other, and BOTH found the same places ii had. That was a wierd feeling. That had to convince me.

what do ya dowse for though skry? How to organise things in home/office/life? Chill out places to sit and relax? I'm not so up on dowsing that's why I ask. I know the crossing of ley lines are powerful place (that's why many churches sit on such crossings cus they were built on older pagan sites---whoops here we go again:P) But to you today why do you dowse?

It's where you have a y shaped stick (usually, although other things work as well) and you can use it to search for water (well, that what I did when I had a go) It seems to pick up on underground rivers/streams etc. Pretty freaky stuff.

Probably someone else would be able to clarify it a bit better than me though

it's a method of finding hidden/buried 'pathways' in the ground. Underground streams, ley lines (a sorta earth power
    - ask skry what they're good for) etc. Some utilities companies even use dowsers to find old piplines!)
most people use a Y-shaped stick held by the split end or l shaped metal rods held in the hand so they can swing free. you walks 'round a bit, and when the sticks move by themselves X (or Y) marks the spot.
sounds like hokey-cokey, but believe a sceptic, it works

Flea, Dowsing in the US is called Witching, or Witching stick or something like that.

Oh just thought You might know it as divining, as in water divining.

The reason I dowse is really because I consider myself an adventurer of the unknown.

I crave knowledge on things which lie on the borders of belief and proof. Those things which scientists dare not mention for fear of ridicule from their rivals and piers.

I like to put a scientific mind to the things which only hippies, mystics and the insane are said to see!

I'm now a healer, a dowser, I can see auras, I've entered the spirit world on Samhain, I know my spirit guide, I've spoken to other spirits, I know how I died in my last life, I can feel the energy in any living thing, also in stones and crystals.
And thats just off the top of my head.

I'm not a hippie. I'll never 100% believe these things work. But I have proof these things do work from independant parties verifying my experience at the exact same time as I was doing them. We get the same answers.

When you get the same answers it kind of puts alot of things in perspective!

    I am a skeptic honest!

    Just like your dowsing experience!

As for the spirit world. Interesting. But makes you very very dizzy and you can't stay in there for more than about five seconds.

Very wierd and completely unbelievable stuff I know. I won't even ask you to believe me.
Find it out first and you'll realise what the hell is going on!

Cut to the dramatic fading out laughter!

Right see what you make of that lot.

Atlantis did exist, and there was even older civilisation then Atlantis called Lemuria. It is tought that this is actually the Garden of Eden.

I'd just like to mention the spirit world is part of us.

As we mentioned in the other bit.

You know you're in the ocean when you go there.
Bit like leaving the house and into a crowd full of peeps!

    Its the collective conciousness.

If you want to find gold or treasure. Grab a map of somewhere likely.

Focus your mind on what you're going to look for.
Get a piece of string with a weight on the end.

Use it as a pendulum and slowly move it in the air across the map.

If it goes over any gold/treasure it'll start circling.

    Thats map dowsing.

You can dowse for anything you can think of!
