two monitors?!

Hey whats the easiest/cheapest way to hook up 2 monitors. I HATE having pallets all over the place when im working...i heard there is a card you can get for like 120 bucks or somethin...anyone know?!

120 bucks ? thats cheap...ONly way I know is to buy a graphics card (Matrox G400 for example).
That way you can do the thing you want.

Maybe there is a cheaper way, but I dont know it

Well yeah..thats what this one dude told me he payed for his but i cant remember what card it was or whatever. Also, how will this affect things if i just want one monitor..do i have to put in the other card?

If i do..then @#(& it, not gonna pay the money just to get the pallets out of the way and switch cards like a mad man

No that wont have to. Its a bit slower than a card you would use for playing games etc, but is better quality.

So no switching etc, you keep the normal desktop, but get a screen extra to dump stuff on..

You step in a computer shop and ask, I think they can tell you whats best.
