I have a very clear 11khz mono 8bits voice .wave sound file that I want to include in a FLASH 4 .fla file (12fps). When I introduce it in a layer with the frame sound setting on 'event' every thing is fine when I set the compression to MP3, Bit rate=8kbps, quality medium. When I try to change the frame sound setting sync=stream, then I get all kind of clicking in the speach sound. When I use a sound software like cooledit 2000 to transform the .wav into MP3 I have also a very clear sound.

Do you have any idea why I cannot get a clear sound? Can somebody help me get the good result on this project?

    Thanx a lot,

    Hi Valmont,
Recently I made a pretty cool Fireworks movie to email to some people, and experienced the same thing. I don't know how processor-intensive your movie is,
but I chalked mine up to the stuff I had going on.
A Stream sound is supposedly given priority
on the timeline over the visuals, but in my mind I can
see where the movie would choke.
When I set the sounds to Event it played fine,
with tweened gradients and stuff, and everything
    sync'd fine.

I haven't really answered your question, but
    that's my most recent experience..............

    Cheers,
    BT
