does anyone know how to print or copy a picture of your monitor on mac into photoshop? i know on pc its just the print scrn button.

shift+command+3 you will here a little camera shutter sound and then if you double click on your hard drive icon you'll find a document in there called "picture1".... i think..... i'm not on a mac right now so i don't remember exactly what the file is called, but you can't miss it. just open that from within photoshop and your good to go

Command-Shift-3 is correct, just remember the images are placed in the root of the boot hard drive (which should be the hard drive in the top right corner). The pictures will be numbered sequentially if you take multiples.
