Here are a few problems i have with sound. Hopefully they can be solved...so far all ive gotten are 'tough luck' lines.

I have a rather long movie for local use, so i dont worry about size at all. I need my music to sync perfectly at times with the animation. Now, i know...streaming, i cant seem to get it to publish high quality when it streams. all of the sounds are set to 160 kps mp3 compression, but streaming still produces less than crisp sound.

so i have this music that works perfectly with the animation ONLY on my system if the movie is the PERFECT size. anythinng else makes it out of sync.

now, the nature of this music is that it can fade out pretty much whenever and be ok...i just want to avoid a clean cut transistion between scores. is there an actionscript that will fade out the sound? i know i could make one on multiple levels to step it down, but im looking for a 'cut and paste' type of solution where i can just change a few variable names... as i will need to use this many times in many situations.

    so...i need to know about

    A. The possibility of high quality streaming audio

    or

    B. Actionscript event triggered volume fading

    (phweeeew!)

Anyway...this is also my first advanced sound venture...and would like to create a process by which i can model my movies in the future...so can stay off the flashkit boards for a few seconds.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help....
