Thread: help with photoshop?

    hi,i'm new to ps,i've been mucking around with it and cant seem to get the colours back in the pallette,only shades of grey...any ideas...thanx.

    photoshop

    hello - sounds like you have converted your image to GRAYSCALE, to work on an image in colour, covert the image to RGB or CYMK.

    to do this select the pulldown menu from IMAGE on the top tool bar - you will be presented with the various modes, choose CYMK or RGB to convert back to colour

    As Aria was saying, it is quite addictive(photoshop). Just to tell you, some other nice places to get Photoshop tutorials is http://www.phong.com and http://www.designsbymark.com. Hope that helps you along on your quest to learn Photoshop. Take care.

    file>new> here change the mode to RGB, and i suppose u will be in the gray scale mode!

    (if it doesn't works, then check ur monitor whether its' a color one or not!!)

    it shud work!
