I am wondering if anyone is aware of whether a flash .exe downloads anything to a user's computer. My company and I are testing the .exe files and need to know if anything is downloaded, such as any type of player file in your temp files or anything of that nature. --Thanks

A Projector EXE made with Flash does nothing to your computer. The problem is that People Modify the EXE and add to it. There was a Trojan going around a while back using a Projector File to hide itself.

Also Swish Canvas, Projector Launcher, Flash Jester Jugglor, ETC add files that are unpacked somewhere on your machine. In the Case of Swish Canvas, Jugglor, and Projector Luancher it is the Temp Directory.

So to answer your question... A EXE made by FlashPLA.EXE does nothing to your machine but play the SWF where as a modified repackaged projector could possibly do anything.
