    Wink

I was wondering how is it possible to detect if a user has an application such as real player? I'm running a video that pops up in the Real Player on a click of a button. I'm able to play the video and open the player on my computer, but I was wondering, if the user does not have the program will it still work?

An example website of what I'm trying to do is:

    Any help appreciated.

If you're talking about a projector instead of a web page then sure. You can use SWF Studio (www.northcode.com) and QUERYOPEN command of the SYSINFO plugin.

    http://www.northcode.com/studio/plugins/queryopen.html

QUERYOPEN will tell you if there's an application registered to handle a particular file type so you would use it to check for the "RM" extension.
