Well my Kodak DC3200 is just bad, because there is not enough true camera features. I've found the Nikon 950 and all the other models with the swivel lense is great. You can get different angles, great photo quality and zoom. Digital cameras are great, make sure you get a rechargable, or at least rechargable batteries because they eat a lot of juice if you have the video preview and the flash on. If you need high quality, get a 3 to 4 mega pixel camera, if you need it for just stuff on a website not for print you can use a simple camera similar to my 3200. Also, make sure the storage media for the camera is adaquate, because high resoultion images can quickly take up space. i have a 16mb compact flash card and it holds about 20 high res, and 100 low res images. Digital photography is fun, but you will rely on traditional methods, minus paying for film.

I have the Sony Cyber Shot DSC-S30. I havent really used other cameras but this one does everything that I need it to. It takes very clear pics and hooks up great with my sony vaio. Havent got one thing bad to say about it.

Yeah Sony is taking over the digital world. I love the digital video camera, trc 1000 or something. That camera is great, I used it to zoom in on my eye, and it did that with the auto focus and the still image looked beyond great. I have used that still for all sorts of designs. I wish they used compact flash, so we can have 1 set standard. Digital is the life for me, until someone cuts off all the juice then were back to traditional.

The Nikon 900 series cameras are always considered the best or second best in every review site and test. You can find a 950 for like $800 USD and the 990 for more like $900 USD.

SONY, usually infamous for poor high-quality shots (especially macros) have come out with two new cameras that people are going NUTS over... the S75 and the S85. Same kind of pricing as the Nikons.

This is the best site on the web for digital camera reviews and information:

this bad boy has 3.34 mgspixls and uses 3" CD-RW disks to store images. 156mgs a piece. The new one in the link above can write over stored images unlike the first Mavica.

Those are the two to choose from.
