I'm sure this is a simple problem for most of you, but I don't get it...
With a sound playing in the background I have two buttons, what scripts do I put on the for one to turn sound on, and the other to turn the sound off?
Sorry for the dumb question! I appreciate help on these things

hi,
put the buttons in a mc.
on its timeline, on frame one, insert sound and the action stop. for the button "off", on release, set the action stop all sounds and goto next frame. no actions for button "on", actually u won´t need it on frame 1 .
on frame two, set the action stop, make sure that there´s no sound. for button "on" set the action goto previous frame
that´s it
