Insert frames

How do you insert frames before a keyframe in a layer automatically without having to manually shift all the keyframes in the other layers one by one (and in my movie there are many).
What I need is something practical like in Director, you can insert frames in one frame that will move all the others down.
Anybody who can pick up my garble please reply.

If you want to add frames and extend the timeline for all existing layers accordingly, you merely select the column of frames of all layers at the chosen point in the timeline and F5 them
