Everytime I import a .3ds into Swift3D it seems to upside down!!! I can't rotate all the parts - it would take a year and it wont be accurate.

    What should I do???

    grouping

    Hey again Master Shin-

You must group the objects when you import from 3ds. Once grouped you can move all together as a whole. As for the upsidedown stuff, that's kinda weird. You can set the rotate imcrement to 90 and rotate it twice, which will right the object. Like I said though, kinda weird. Lemme know how it goes!!

strange. my creations come in right side up... sure that you did not change your default camera/view settings or your X and Z are not reversed (check your views).

as far as rotation, select all (ctrl+A) then group (alt+G), and then rotate. then apply materials to each piece - no need to ungroup, just be careful when applying materials.

Yea, what gerbick said. You can also select individual objects by holding down shift and selecting the objects, just in case you don't want to select ALL objects. Then to group is ALT+G, or go to the main toolbar and select Arange->Group. This should work.

I'll try what the Dawg said, if it doesn't work, i'll send you the .3ds's.

If you still want the .3ds let me know...
