    Question

I'm new to flash and just playing around at the moment. One of my favorite sites is Ray of Light.net I'm mystified about how you can create the clock in the main screen. Does it have to be done frame by frame or does flash do any work for you?

The RayOfLight clock is basically a symbol, just put at an angle and made slightly transparent. The hands which spin in it are two movie clips using motion-tween. Quite easy to do (not frame-by-frame), but the way they've executed it makes it look very cool.

When the clock numbers "glow" these are just some more clever gradient filled movie things, told to play when moving over buttons.

    An awesome site http://www.rayoflight.net
