Colour glows in Flash5

I have just moved from Flash4 to Flash5, and am so far finding it ok.

One thing that has interested me about Flash 5 (apart from a full programming language!) is the 'advanced' colour use on some sites that I have visited recently.

One of these sites is http://www.rustedfaith.com.

A lovely site. But what interests me most is how they have managed create glows, and lensflares.

Is this a new feature to Flash5?

Or have they been done in another program?
