    Can anyone confirm there's a bug in the sound Object's start(offset) property?

    Basically offset values work fine, but if using and offset on a long sound (+10 secs) the sound starts at the offset, but fails to play all through to the end of the sample!

    Try:
    :::_root.frame1:::
    aSoundObject = new Sound(this);
    aSoundObject.attachSound("soundToAttach");
    // 10 seconds length

    :::button.frame1:::
    on(release){
    _root.aSoundObject.start(7,0); // offset of 7 secs, no loops
    }

    and you'll see it plays the sound "soundToAttach" fine but doesn't reach the end!

    Any ideas

    I had the same problem with it.
    Finally i used a high number of loops like 999+
    and works.
