blurring images

Hi all,
I have made a bar like those on the front page of flashkit. The blue menus bars.

Here's my situation. when I import it into flash it blurs the image. I have tried saving it several ways but to no avail the it still comes in blurry. HELP!!!

I'm not sure that this is a font question but hey, I'm here to help.
In Flash, no matter what image you import, it distorts the image, even if it is 1% or the image being distorted. Anyway, the only way to get rid of this is to 're-create' the image in Flash by using the tools that you have: Line, brush, pint-bucket, gradient tools etc. Or you could just convert it to a vector image.
Sorry, that's the best info I can give you, I know this because it's happened to me. I'm unaware of a sure-fire way to fix this problem.

Thats what I was hoping to avoid but if there is no other solution then I guess I'll have to recreate it. *^%$#^&
