cd biz card frame rate

Hi there, I am creating an interactive portfolio cd and was wondering what frame rate I should use off of a cd. Can I use a higher frame rate like 20 or 24 fps? Will this still run smoothly?

on who is going to be viewing it. It's the speed of their machine, not the movie, that will make it run faster or slower.

I usually go for 24 fps. That's fast enough for smooth animation on higher-end systems, but still slow enough to get most frames on the slow ones. And, it'll run at 20 fps on a mac.
