You have to aquire a plugin called vecta3d-max which exports animation to swf. Another way is to render every frame to a bmp and import them into flash, then you have to trace and fill over the bitmaps, but this takeesa long time for complicated animations.

I made this animation using hand tracing and it took me a several hours to complete it.

An alternative to Vecta is to export your MAX scene to .3DS and render with Swift 3D. There are some limitations to the .3DS format, but this is a good way to start. Swift3D is less expensive than Vecta3D-MAX.

    good luck!

a other option that can be done is:

-render frame by frame in MAX and save as .png file (transparant background) and import to Flash.

-more difficult: make your moves with the (red) animation button in MAX. Render this as an .avi file en import this in Ulead GIF animator. Select all the frames, copy and paste into Flash layer.

    succes, let me know!
