    I have an exe made in another program that I want to launch from Flash.

    on (release) {
    fscommand ("exec", "Demo.exe");
    }

    The above code works because I have the .exe in the same folder as my SWF. But as soon as I move the exe to another folder. Like:

    on (release) {
    fscommand ("exec", "JMD/Demo.exe");
    }

    It doesn't work.

    What am I doing wrong? Do I need to set it as an expression?

    Thanks,

    Jaxman

    Your file path is wrong.

    Without knowing your directory structure I can't realy help too much more.

    "Demo" is the folder that houses everything. All the SWF's and folders. JMD is under that.
    Demo/JMD/Demo.exe and
    Demo/all my swf's

    There is a proprietary file that is associated with the exe.
    once I did this:

    on (release) {
    fscommand ("exec", "DMX/lbe" add chr (9) add "JMB/lbe.pxs");
    }

    It worked.
    lbe is the exe and there is another lbe.psx associated with the exe.

    any idea why this works and the other versions don't?
