I am trying to make a laser fly across the screen. But I want it to go really fast. So i double clicked on the FPS right below the movie timeline and set it to 120 fps. What happened was that my whole movie then went at 120 fps and set all my timings off. How do I fix this problem.

Put your laser animation on MC, set it as fast as you want. then drag your MC from library into the stage.

The only advice I have is to make the laser animation with less frames.

The FPS controls the entire movie, even external .swf's that are loaded in.
