Can someone PLEASE explain to me step by step how to re-create a len's flare in flash. There are several used on the site http://www.xeofreestyle.com ... which in my opinion is a slightly cooler and definately more origonal site than 2advanced. But, anyway I can't recreate this flare effect they use and it sucks. Any help would be appreciated...

Most people do lense flares with Photoshop, I've actually never heard of anyone doing them in Flash. There's a specific filter for them in Photoshop.
I looked at that site, don't know what to say about the "slightly cooler and definatly more original site that 2advanced" comment, but those lense flares are likely done with Photoshop. perhaps there's a way to do them with gradients and brightness settings in Flash, maybe someone knows.
Good Luck,

Well, the comment was just my opinion. I think it is more origonal because the "futuristic city scape" look has been done many times. But don't get me wrong I think 2advanced is awesome and one of my favorite sites to date. I'm just slightly partial to the other. But anyways I don't think that the flares were done in photoshop because, well I don't. Maybe, but I've never been able to get flares to look like that in photoshop, if anyone knows how please reply however.

check the movie downloads, I remember one flare FLA, that one of the FK creators did himself. It looked pretty cool.
The website you mentioned looked like a combo of some photoshop graphics and different color flash circles and shapes to get the movement.
Very cool site, very fast loading for all thats there.
