I've started a new movie (and I'm new at Flash) where I've created a skyline with "twinkling" lights. I now want this skyline to continue "twinkling" (looping) while the intro is running, fading out shortly before the end of the intro.

How do I loop this background? Or is my only option to "write out" each layer to continue to the end?

    Thanks for any help.

    My apologies....

But what do you mean by "make it into a movie clip"? I'm sorry, but I'm still in the process of figuring out how all fit together in making flash movies.

    Thanks, ES

Thanks -- I recall seeing that option now, just haven't used it before. Would be nice if the index in the manuals would list it also. ;-)
